host the exhibition
Help us find our first home.
The Unsaid Project is designed, the story line is ready, and women are waiting to be heard. What we need now is a space.
we need you
We're looking for a building owner, gallery, business or organization willing to donate a space for our first exhibition. For one to two months, your space would become a quiet room where women's voices are finally heard, and where a community comes to listen.
What the exhibition is. Fifteen vintage black rotary phones, each on its own white pedestal against a freestanding white panel, with a stool, fresh white flowers and soft warm light. Visitors lift a receiver and listen to one woman's anonymous story, start to finish. A bench sits in the center, and a writing wall lets visitors leave a line for the women they heard. Entry is always free.

What we're looking for
Size: about 1,500 to 2,500 square feet. Smaller spaces can work with fewer stations.
Time: one to two months, plus a few days to set up and take down.
The basics: an open room, standard power outlets, a ground-floor or accessible entrance, and nearby restrooms.
Ideal spaces: galleries, empty retail or showroom space, lofts, studios, hotel or office lobbies, and community or university buildings.

We open. Free to the public for the length of the run.
